Bigger Pie Forum is opposed to Mississippi's crony capitalism environment among businesses thriving not as a result of risks they take, but rather as a return on money amassed through a nexus between a business class and the political class. BPF seeks to expose these practices providing transparency for Mississippi's citizens.

The work of Bigger Pie Forum strongly believes an open and free market will create more prosperity for more citizens than a heavily regulated market place. BPF aims to advance free enterprise, fiscal discipline, economic growth, and the rule of law.

BPF consistently aims at encouraging Mississippi's State Government to perform their vital, core responsibilities. BPF is focused on ways to ensure the state government provides these responsibilities in an effective and cost efficient manner in our cities, where new economic ideas are born.

Bigger Pie Forum believes a well-trained and educated work force is critical to the success of any community. BPF's agenda to ensure that all students receive a quality education is centered on four tenets: teachers matter; curriculum counts; choice and competition work; and accountability and innovation are essential.

Bigger Pie Forum highlights how abundant and affordable power help fuel growth and prosperity. BPF is engaged in the regulatory oversight of electric utilities and aims to promote common sense solutions rooted in free-market economic principles.

BPF promotes environmental regulatory reform and actively engages the bureaucracy regulating flooding on the Mississippi River. BPF believes mitigating the flooding by using Old River Control Complex would give Mississippians back their privately owned land.

Bigger Pie Forum believes the Federal Government has over extended its regulatory reach across the American economy resulting in underperformance. BPF highlights and seeks answers to the lacking dynamism necessary to produce the prosperity Mississippians need and deserve.

Bigger Pie Forum promotes health policy reforms that empower patients and consumers by encouraging competition, transparency, accountability, and innovation. Our goal is a 21st century health care marketplace that better utilizes technology and new business models to offer consumers more accessible, higher quality care at a more affordable price.

BPF strives to inform citizens and elected officials on its views regarding public policies that benefit or cause harm to Mississippi's economic condition. Bigger Pie believes sound public policy grounded in fiscal responsibility is a cornerstone to successful communities. 

The rule of law is increasingly being eroded by those trying to achieve policy objectives outside the normal bounds of legislative action. BPF accesses civil litigation, overcriminalization and corporate governance to understand these trends and formulate policy solutions.
