AMAZON DATA CENTER EFFECT
Utilities spend more for data centers than data center owners will pay. Utilities then make small customers foot the bill.

WHY IT MATTERS
- Only 484,000 residential customers in Mississippi to absorb costs (compared to 2.5 million each in GA and VA)
- Many Mississippi residential customers among the poorest households in the country
- Entergy's poor customers have the highest energy burden in the US and it will only go up

Higher rates are coming unless Mississippians wake up, demand answers and hold leaders accountable. This isn't economic development, it's legalized pick-pocketing, taking from Mississippi families to fund Amazon and Entergy's sweetheart secret deal.
